Healthcare providers usually need BLS, and clinicians managing cardiac emergencies take ACLS or PALS. Workplaces, caregivers and community responders take a Heartsaver course. School staff take Heartsaver K–12, and anyone caring for infants and children takes Heartsaver Pediatric. Requirements vary by employer, licensing board, school, and profession. CPR Masters RGV offers American Heart Association courses, but you should confirm the exact certification required by your employer or regulatory agency before registering. Course completion cards are issued for the specific course successfully completed, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, or Heartsaver CPR AED/First Aid. American Heart Association course completion cards are generally valid for two years from the date of issue. Your card identifies the specific course completed and its expiration date.

Classes are held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedules are flexible for group and onsite training. You can book directly on our calendar, or call (956) 379-6196.

Pricing varies by course, class format, and whether training is provided individually or for a group. Prices are not published online — call (956) 379-6196 and an instructor will give you current pricing. For onsite training, schools, healthcare facilities, businesses, and other organizations can contact CPR Masters RGV for a group-training quote.

We train at our Mission, Texas location and onsite at your facility anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley — including McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, Weslaco and across Hidalgo County.

Because class seats and instructor time are reserved in advance, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to CPR Masters RGV's current registration policy. Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend your scheduled class. Full refunds will be issued to those who cancel at least 48 hours prior to class start date and time. Any student who does not show up to a scheduled class or cancels within 48 hours will not be eligible for a refund.

Blended learning may be available for select courses. In a blended course, the required online portion is completed before attending an in-person, instructor-led skills session. A certificate of completion from the online portion is required, and fees for the hands-on skills check-off apply. Availability depends on the specific course. CPR and emergency cardiovascular care courses include hands-on skills practice that may require kneeling, bending, standing, lifting, performing chest compressions, and working with training manikins and other equipment.
